PADI Retailers: Receive Up to $500 in Advertising Money

PADI retailers are eligible for up to $500 in co-op advertising money - but it's first come first serve, so don't delay!

Here's how it works:
  • Same qualifications as DEMA's Be A Diver Co-Op.
  • Order the Be A Diver TV commercial from DEMA (free)
  • Utilize DEMA's guide to local cable media buys (start on page 9)
  • Buy air time or co-op with other local retailers
  • PADI will reimburse 25% of your media buy up to $500.
Funds are limited and we already have submissions. This is not something you can afford to wait on.

Pasted below is DEMA's Be A Diver commercial. The last 7 seconds can be customized with store contact information (most cable companies will do this for you at no charge).

Ice Diving - Seriously Extreme Scuba

Ice Diving

Extreme sports such as Motocross, Extreme Base Jumping, etc get a ton of attention in the media. When I see these things on TV or get videos forwarded to me from friends, I feel like scuba doesn't get enough credit. So I thought to myself: what does scuba have to offer that's really out there.

Something that makes your friends say, "You did WHAT?!?!"

Then it occurred to me: ice diving. That really is the ultimate certification card. You pull that out on a dive boat and watch everyone's jaw hit the deck.

Just for fun I created a webpage about ice diving on Google Sites. Here's the URL in case the link doesn't work:
http://sites.google.com/site/letsgoicediving/

Enjoy!

A big thanks to the PADI Dive Centers who sent in ice diving photos:
Gone Diving, Bellingham, WA (360) 738-2042
The Salty Dog Dive Shop Kalispel, MT (406) 755-2559
Sports Cove, Bozeman, MT (406) 585-9926
Test the Waters, Fairbanks, AK (907) 474-9000

P.S. Here' s a link to the official PADI Ice Diver page.
