The prescriptive lesson guides for the PADI Enriched Air Specialty (computer version) are now shipping. Use the new PLGs if you're teaching the computer version of the Nitrox course.

When do instructor's have to officially stop teaching using the older EANx material? I am about to order in the new instructor guide but have been told by my local supplier they will not have them for a few weeks. I thought it was Jan 1st.

Instructors can keep teaching the old (table version) of EANx indefinitely.
Caveat: when we run out of the old manuals and DVDs, the table-version of our EANx crewpaks will ship with a booklet called "Nitrox RDP instructions for use" along with the new manual and DVD (which don't address how to use dive tables).

I took the EANx course in 2009 after I passed the open water written exam but before my open water dive. I did this in school and it was all done by the same instructor and when I compelted my open water dive she forgot to certify me for EANx. Do I have to retake the test or should she be able to certify me? I did the work and paid the money and still am not certified. We are in a dispute about who is right. What do you think?
