About Us

Welcome to PADI Instructor News

History
We created this website in 2007 for PADI Professionals working in the northwestern United States. In early 2009 we expanded to the entire west coast and the central pacific region, and towards the end of the year we combined with the PADI Dolphin Tales (Florida) blog.

Purpose
The goal of this blog is to provide a place for PADI Members to:

* Discover new ideas
* Promote job opportunities
* Find out what’s new at PADI
* Share success stories

For the most part, the content on this site is applicable to all PADI Members in the PADI Americas Territory. Occasionally, I will post regionally-specific content.

Search Tips
Use the search box in the top right to search for topics that interest you, for example: "jobs" or "teaching tips." You can also click on the tags that appear at the bottom of each article to find related content.

Our subscribers number over 1300 and we are visited by an average of 1,200 PADI Professionals per week from around the world. We hope this blog will be something you find valuable and choose to visit regularly. We invite you to subscribe to updates - you can get them delivered by email or RSS Feed (MyYahoo, iGoogle, etc).
